Final Year Project

To build a E-learning framework using revolutionary new technologies from Microsoft viz. WPF and WCF, that helps the academia in general and faculty in particular in testing the students, an essential part of a curriculum.

We( Natasha, Muji and me) hope to build a system that is extensible and open so that it allows the teachers (test administrators) to change the type of questions for themselves using a simple interface without the need for any programming effort. The system should be able to accept new questions to allow the teacher to test the student again and again during the same session or in case of supplementary examination. The framework should be able to be designed for scalability and performance, this should include the development of an elaborate caching mechanism to minimize database connection time and count. Lastly we hope the application should provide Rich User Experience andbuilt around the tenet of Service Oriented Architecture.

The e learning project idea is little bit old but the main charm in it is the use of Windows Presentation Foundation and Windows Communication Foundation. I think so its too much early to use these technologies in any project. I pray for your project so that we can see it.
best regards,
Binte Fahad
